Description: The COPS Office is pleased to announce the availability of funding under the Community Policing Development Grant Program (CPD 2007). Under this program, the COPS Office will be seeking applications to fund a variety of initiatives designed to advance the practice of community policing nationwide. Proposed projects should be of national relevance and not solely for the benefit of one or a select number of law enforcement agencies. The solicitation should be of particular interest to public governmental agencies, profit and non-profit institutions, educational institutions, community groups, and faith-based organizations. Please note that applicants are eligible to submit more than one application; however, each application must focus on only one of the following priority areas.
